More and more customers are now buying Nyjer Seed, the oil rich seed of the Ramtil plant, native to Ethiopia, which is often used as a ’tonic’ food for birds. The seed has proved popular with Goldfinch, Siskin and Redpoll and can help attract these species to your garden. It is recommended that this fine seed be fed from a Nyjer Feeder with a seed tray to prevent waste.

CJ Wildbird Foods carry out their own long–term research project across Europe and are currently funding external research projects into many rare and declining bird species including the House Sparrow, Tree Sparrow, Starling, Yellowhammer, Cirl Bunting and Twite.
They are also proud to support the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society), helping to fund their valuable work.
