Just Green Live Ladybirds
Aphids are a serious pest to many plants, have the ability to reproduce very quickly and are now also resistant to many chemical pesticides. This pack contains 30 adult 2–spot ladybirds (Adalia bipunctata), one of the UK’s naturally occurring ladybird species. Each adult eats many aphids per day and will lay 20–50 eggs daily. These hatch into larvae that eat up to 100 aphids a day! Ladybirds will feed and reproduce from spring to summer. In the autumn they look for hibernating homes. Available April – August.
