Hedgerow Herbals Black Palm Soap – Natural, Fairly Traded
Black Palm is a natural soft soap made by a women’s cooperative in Ghana and is fairly traded. The women collect the windfall cocoa pod and palm husks and boil them up, creating the base ingredient for this fabulous hand soap. Shea butter is then added for its moisturising properties. This base is shipped to the UK where it is mixed with lemongrass, vetiver and citronella essential oils and packed into aluminium tubes. It is traditionally used in Africa for washing wounds and for soothing irritated skin. It is very mild and suitable for use on both face and body and has a honey like consistency similar to an ointment – a little goes a long way! 50g.
Ingredients:Saponified palm kernel oil (potassium palm kernelate), shea butter (butrospermum parkii), filtered water (aqua), vegetable glycerin, lemongrass (cymbopogon citratus) essential oil, vetiver (vetiver zizanoides) essential oil, citronella (cymbopogon nardus) essential oil.
